The currents trend shows that there is a gradual decrease in students choosing the private sector for job prospects as more and more students are making government jobs their priorities. The reasons for the shift are probably the unstable nature of Private jobs and their unavailability. The government jobs help students in giving their career a stable base and provide authoritative importance to those who deserve.

What is SSC-CGL?
Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is a Government body which conducts a range of exam to recruit staffs for posts in various departments and government ministries. It’s a widely popular exam and millions of budding candidates compete to secure the government jobs. The exams include CGL (combined graduate level), Junior Engineer, Stenographer, Hindi Translator, etc. In 2015, 1.7 million candidates appeared for the CGL exam.

Why is SSC-CGL so Popular?
The reasons for opting SSC-CGL exams are plenty in number. Government jobs are usually secure in nature and don't fire candidates like private companies do. If a candidate is able to secure a government job then he or she can work up to 60 years age. Unlike the private sector, candidates don’t have to chase targets and goals and they work in flexible hours.
