Gupta Dynasty ruler, Samudragupta (335-375 AD) is known as Napolean of India.

Historian A V Smith gave him this title, however, criticised by many other historians due to the fact that Samudragupta never lost any battle unlike Napolean and they feel Gupta ruler was a greater warrior than Napolean.

Also known as "Hero of hundred battles"
